No officer to leave Poonch, cops asked to curb movement on exit points | KNO

Rajouri, March 30 (KNO): The authorities in Poonch have taken strong notice of some government officers leaving the station in crucial time and have asked the police authorities to strict the curbs on exit points of the district and to check movement of officers. According to wire service—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), the District Magistrate Poonch Rahul Yadav have issued an order asking officers not to leave the station. In his order, District Magistrate had state that some district and sectoral officers are leaving the district headquarter in these crucial days without prior sanction and approval of the competent authority which is a misconduct and against the civil services conduct rules. Some of the employees working on alternate week roaster are also leaving station to Jammu and Rajouri which is increasing traffic movement on roads, reads the order. "It is therefore ordered that no officer shall be allowed to leave the station without proper permission from the District Magistrate," the order reads as per KNO. The District Magistrate have also asked the police authorities to direct the police post manpower at Bhimber Gali and Dera Ki Gali to check all the vehicles and to inform district administration in case any officer is found leaving the station—(KNO)
